The story of Rohan

Pranks, internet culture, and divergent thinking

Rohan's route into technology began with play rather than a formal product plan. Prank calls, online communities, and a fascination with how internet cultures create shared language gave him an early education in attention. He also started a major card donation program while in high school, showing that community organization was present before Web3.

College did not become the permanent route. He left school to work, choosing direct participation over waiting for permission. That mix of humor, cultural study, and hands-on organizing later helped him understand memes as more than jokes: they are coordination tools that can move communities and markets.

Learning growth inside crypto

Rohan became one of the early hires on Polkadot's growth team and entered a rapidly changing blockchain ecosystem. The job exposed him to distribution, mindshare, and the mechanics that make a network feel alive. He saw how social platforms could let one person perform much of a company's marketing work, but also how communities could become metrics rather than relationships.

Leaving college for the opportunity carried risk, and later agency and company work included wins, losses, and projects that did not hold. Those experiences strengthened his view that technical possibility only matters when culture and participation give people a reason to care.

Slopfather as a participatory media engine

Rohan and his co-founder built Slopfather around AI-generated video, meme culture, and audience participation. Community members can inspire stories, edit material, tag the character, and contribute articles, with plans to reward major contributors at the end of a season. The project is intentionally playful, but its structure tests a serious idea: AI media can be co-created instead of simply broadcast.

Rohan separates that experimentation from empty automation by emphasizing taste, context, and contribution. Slopfather is therefore both entertainment and a live prototype for a media engine where creators, agents, and audiences share more of the production loop.
