The story of Max

Learning patience and directness

Max grew up in a middle-class French family with a teacher mother, an aviation engineer father, and a brother. Fishing trips with his father taught him patience, while constant sport and neighborhood games gave him energy and confidence. His father also taught him to pause before acting, identify the clearest destination, and choose the most direct sensible route.

His parents divorced when he was ten, and his father's death shortly after Max turned eighteen began a prolonged period of grief and instability. Only years later did Max learn that his own career in aviation procurement closely resembled work his father had done decades earlier. Those parallel paths, along with an early technical interest in computers, established a lasting preference for practical systems, simplicity, and work that serves a clear purpose.

Recovering discipline through Muay Thai

After his father's death, Max spent several years drinking, smoking, and playing poker compulsively while lacking direction. Travel had already created a strong connection to Southeast Asia, and a film later prompted him to spend six months in a Thai Muay Thai camp. Training twice daily for six days each week replaced an unstructured routine with discipline and gradual technical progress.

The camp's strongest fighters emphasized controlled practice rather than proving dominance, which helped Max rebuild confidence without confusing force with skill. His trainer eventually matched him against a vastly more experienced opponent after judging that he was prepared enough to compete safely. Max carried forward the lesson that meaningful risks do not require perfect confidence, but they do require preparation, trusted judgment, and a clear understanding of what can be lost.

Applying hard lessons to Spredict

Max entered blockchain through its technical possibilities and first designed a supply-chain protocol for aviation parts and documentation. He closed that effort after failing to assemble the right team, then joined a decentralized finance project that lost community trust when its product was not ready at launch. Those experiences shaped Spredict, which he has developed with cofounders over several years.

The platform offers free prediction games and paid competitive pools through fixed subscriptions, with rankings determining how a shared prize pool is distributed. Smart contracts handle the system transparently while players retain custody of their remaining funds. Max and his team have tested an early Formula One version and are building reusable architecture for sports and crypto prediction categories, emphasizing iteration, team cohesion, accessibility, and product revenue rather than dependence on token speculation.
