The story of B-Roc
Learning independence and belonging
B-Roc was raised in London as an only child, primarily by his mother and a wide circle of women who modeled care, respect, discipline, and practical independence. His mother taught him to cook, clean, manage himself, and support a household while she worked long hours. Extended visits with relatives near Washington, DC gave him a different experience of family life, competition, basketball, and companionship with boys his age.
When his mother moved him to a new secondary school at eleven, he had to rebuild his social world from the beginning. He later found lasting belonging in friends and their families. Competitive sport, including rugby, football, and national-level sprinting, added another source of discipline and helped him combine empathy with a strong drive to perform.
Turning pressure into leadership judgment
At seventeen, B-Roc chose work over university and entered London banking after earning a perfect score on an assessment. The role validated abilities that school had not recognized, but the competitive environment also exposed him to pressure, office politics, and colleagues who took advantage of his youth. After three years, he stepped away for about a year.
A later role at a small technology reseller placed him among demanding sales professionals and required months of daily telephone outreach. One initially intimidating colleague eventually became a close friend and mentor who helped him develop confidence, technical fluency, and resilience. Across these experiences, B-Roc learned to distinguish decisiveness from performance, listen before leading, accept that not everyone will like him, and still ensure people feel heard.
Creating a trusted media bridge
B-Roc entered Web3 through a long-standing interest in games, comics, collectibles, and the identities people form around them. He valued the way early communities connected people across social boundaries, but he also saw financial incentives make many interactions transactional and exclusive. He created OG Triple Media to provide a more dependable route to information and collaboration.
Its publication covers projects and current affairs, its development arm builds internal products and an NFT universe, and its agency supports clients with development, design, marketing, copy, and business guidance. B-Roc is also developing a project library where communities and creators can contribute useful material. His goal is to make the organization a trusted conduit between Web3 projects and wider audiences while keeping access, respect, and practical support at the center.
